Project Overview
This project consists of the design, fabrication, and construction of two large-scale steel structure factory buildings in Ghana. Developed to support industrial manufacturing operations, the facilities provide modern production space with excellent thermal insulation, durability, and operational efficiency.
The project combines the strength and flexibility of a steel structure system with high-performance insulated wall and roof panels, creating a comfortable working environment suitable for year-round industrial production.
Building Design Features
The two workshops utilize a portal frame steel structure system designed to provide large clear-span interior spaces with minimal internal obstructions. This allows maximum flexibility for production line arrangement, machinery installation, and material handling operations.
A 1.8-meter brick base wall was incorporated to enhance impact resistance, improve durability, and provide additional protection against moisture and daily operational wear. Above the masonry section, 50mm glass wool sandwich panels were installed to provide thermal insulation, noise reduction, and energy efficiency.
